We educate, organize, and empower everyday people to take action in their local communities and beyond.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Is &#8220;Surge 4 Democracy&#8221; a political party?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>No. We are not affiliated with any political party. We are a people-powered movement that supports democratic values\u2014fair elections, equal rights, accountable government, and justice for all.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">What inspired &#8220;Surge 4 Democracy&#8221;?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Like many Americans, we had spent years thinking politics didn\u2019t affect her. That changed. This movement exists for anyone who has had that same realization: <em>democracy only works when we show up for it<\/em>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">What kind of work does &#8220;Surge 4 Democracy&#8221; do?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>We focus on civic education, voter empowerment, community organizing, and amplifying underrepresented voices. We host events, share resources, highlight local leaders, and mobilize people around causes that matter.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">How can I get involved?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Start by signing up for updates or volunteering through our website. You can also follow us on social media, attend an event, or start a Surge 4 Democracy group in your area. Most of us didn\u2019t start out as activists\u2014we started as concerned citizens. If you care about your rights, your community, and the future of this country, you belong here. No experience needed.
